Waiting is one of the Bible's most persistent situations: waiting for a child, for a harvest, for release, for a return. The waits are frequently described as long, and some are not resolved within the text at all.
That honesty is kept here. A page about waiting made only of reassurances that the wait is nearly over would be of little use to someone who has been waiting for years.
