About the backgrounds

No stock photography is used, nothing has been scraped from the web, and the stained-glass option is an original geometric arrangement rather than a reproduction of any window.
The reference and translation abbreviation are always included on the image. That is deliberate: a quotation without its source cannot be checked, and unverifiable Scripture images are a large part of why a site like this is worth building carefully.
