Exams, new schools and results days are genuinely stressful, and it is worth being straightforward about what a verse can and cannot do. Reading one will not change a grade.
What these passages have offered people is something more modest and more durable: a way of holding a stressful period without it becoming the whole picture. Several are about learning itself, which the wisdom books treat as a lifelong occupation rather than a school-age one.

that the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; that the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel;
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
